"What a terrific first work day in Nova Granada! We were all anxious and excited about getting to the boys/girls club this morning but I don't think we were as excited as the 200+ smiling faces that greeted us! We had so much fun singing, playing, and doing crafts with each of them. They laughed at our broken Portuguese and we laughed along with them. We had 2 groups, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. In between, we had lunch with our interpreters in Nova Granada and had the opportunity to walk around the town square and visit with many of the locals who play cards there. At the end of the day, we broke into 3 teams and went door to door in a very poor area of the city passing out new testaments and praying with many of them. I had the privilege of teaming up with Daniel and Jennifer and they both got to share the gospel using the Evangicube and did an AWESOME job. Each team had similar stories and we look forward to being able to do this again tomorrow. We have time for a quick shower and then our host church in Rio Preto has a bar-b-que planned in our honor tonight so we will enjoy spending time with many of them. They have been so gracious to us and are always so happy to see us each day. Please continue to pray for us tomorrow as we work again with the children. God Bless - Clark"

Day 1 VBS
Today has been great. The kids have been wonderful and remember so much from last year. They are beautiful! Here is a little update and we should have pictures from there soon.
