VBS Eve

We just returned from a wonderful church service here in Rio Preto at our partner church. There was wonderful music, they gave great thanks and recognition to the medical team, welcomed us, and Paul gave the message. Daniel did a great job playing for us when we sang. We ate Chinese at a restaurant that is owned by friends of the church. Many think this was one of our best meals.

Just a point to clarify - we are staying in a hotel in Rio Preto which is the home town of many of our friends and the location of our partner church (remember the wonderful Brazilians that came to Arkansas a few winters ago?). It is a town of about 450,000 people. Starting tomorrow, we will be working each day in Nova Granada, a rural town about 30 to 40 minutes away. It has a population of about 18,000. It is the location of the orphanage where we will hold VBS and where the little church is that we are helping (the one we went to Saturday night).

We leave tomorrow at 8am to work and the medical team leaves to come home at about lunch time. So there - you have some things to pray about.  :)  Good night!
