We had lunch together and came back to our rooms and separated out all the VBS supplies from the medical supplies from the Awana supplies from the gifts from the pancake supper supplies. Jill and Sheila and Lee are making a supermarket run now to buy many pounds of sugar in preparation for our pancake supper Wednesday evening. We will meet back for big church tonight here in Rio Preto. See below for some pics from the new church during our visit today. I know these aren't much, but I will have access to everyone else's pics later.

First Day in Nova Granada
After breakfast (with 8 kinds of cake!), we had a great Awana awards presentation with the kids at the new church house in Nova Granada. So many are plugged in and doing their memory verses - very exciting. We spent a great deal on time building relationships. Ryan excelled at being our game leader. He was very energetic and entertaining to the kids. And spoke perfect English with a strong Nacho accent. Glenn is in trouble once again for his game selection - Americans in the Middle - which was essentially dodgeball played with soccer balls. Doc Phillip has some moves! We didn't know he was that nimble. Go head - throw a ball at him sometime and see for yourself. It was a great time and the parents were very impressed and joined in many times. They were all so receptive that we were able to present the gospel to the entire group before we left. They have all been invited back to VBS. Some great doors were really opened this morning.
