We had church in Nova Granada Friday night. We spent the whole day in that town after VBS inviting folks to church and visiting in the streets. Glenn is the new American Wizard. It is amazing how those little magic tricks opened so many doors. They are on to him though - he is going to have to up his game for next time. There were over 100 people at the service. All 77 chairs were taken with people standing in the back and outside the fence. Lots of good music. Although the combination of musically impaired Americans combined with talented Brazilians and so many kids - our clapping to songs sounded more like popcorn. The service was over 2 hours long and ended with many tearful goodbyes. You know you are tired when you laugh at everything and everybody on the way back to the hotel. If you were on the bus - you were fair game.
Speaking of rhythm, we sure did miss Alan here this time. It is not the same for me at all. We miss you, man! Bad. I could have used some instruction or someone to follow with on the tambourine at VBS all week. I don't want to say I was awful, but you could have just tazer-ed a rattlesnake and got better results.
Well, we are heading back this morning. We get McDonalds's first! Pray for our travels. Big bus ride, then big plane ride, then little plane ride, then little bus ride. Hug, hug. Kiss, kiss.
