Hey Everyone,
Tuesday was an awesome day! The medical clinic saw over a hundred people and the VBS at the orphanage was good both times. There were 15 people who accepted Christ as their Savior at the clinic today and 10 at the orphanage. But the really cool thing is that several of the children and adults who have accepted Christ in the past are still around and remember doing that.
The work here is really starting to take off with Pastor Eliseu's work. He is a delightful man and charismatic but very solid in his faith. He and his wife are working so hard and doing it right.
This morning we will be in three schools sharing about the US, about Conway, and most importantly sharing the Gospel with the cube. Then after lunch we will go back to the same schools and do it again with the children who attend in the afternoon. Please pray for favor and acceptance on the part of the students and adults.
Tonight we will host a pancake supper that I think half the town plans to attend...please pray God divides the loaves and fishes!! haha I think by the time we get back Sheila Rogers is going to be ready to put Aunt Jamima out of business. She is our chief syrup maker.
I cannot say enough about the team. Glenn has wowed and amazed the kids with all sorts of magic tricks. Some hilarious stories there. And Ryan is the most amazing, spectacular cheerleader, confidence builder, motivator in da worrrlldd. Everyone is hitting their groove. Carlee is like a pop star. Everyday we leave we have to help get her to the bus. Caleb has the eye of every girl above 10 in the town but he has such a servants heart and is working hard not just looking pretty! ha ha
Lots more too but the most awesome compliment came as our bus driver was nearly moved to tears telling me how awesome our work here was and how much it moved him to see people who don't even know these children love them so much. "Maybe more than many parents love their own children. How can you do that?" Guess what I did! planted seeds. Hope he drives again today.
Much more than I could/should write about the whole team but will write more later. You should be very proud of the 15 who are representing Jesus and Second Baptist. They are working tirelessly and seizing every opportunity.
God Bless,
Paul
