Wednesday - Pancake Time

What a blast! You would not think that working that hard could be fun. We had a great time preparing. Sheila literally knocked out gallons of home-made syrup. Glenn and Philip (with many other shift change helpers) made over 1300 pancakes! Did you know that you can keep them stored and warm in suitcases? You can. Wonder how the custom's sniffing dogs will react to this? We got to serve about 150 people tonight! We played games and sang songs and invited back for VBS tomorrow and Friday mornings. Everyone of the team really jumped in to help anytime something was needed. We learned a lot that Beast Feast cookers and servers need to know! The folks were so thankful and kind. This was our best return on investment in a long time for an event like this. So many people got to see the church location and meet the new pastor. BTW - the pastor and his wife are incredible.
